My Story
Since middle school, I always imagined continuing my education in sunny California, eyeing UCSB or UCLA as my dream schools. But as I got older, the urge to travel while young started buzzing louder in my head. I even toyed with the idea of taking a gap year to explore. But then reality hit—I didn't want to lag behind in my career goals. Next, I considered doing online classes while traveling, but deep down, I knew it wouldn't give me the full university experience I craved. The idea of jet-setting while young seemed more like a fantasy than something I could actually pull off while still focusing on my studies. So, I reluctantly let it go. But then, during senior year's college application frenzy, something unexpected happened. I stumbled upon the idea of attending an American university abroad. It seemed too good to be true, considering the lack of info out there. Yet, here I am, living the dream in Switzerland, getting an education and exploring the world all at once. And that's why I'm here—to help others jump on this incredible opportunity. I want my website to be a go-to resource for students and parents who, like me, didn't even know this option existed. Let's spread the word and make studying abroad a little less mysterious and a lot more accessible.

I'm enrolled at Franklin University Switzerland, and I'm planning on majoring in finance and international marketing. Let me tell you, I've had an amazing first year. The campus is amazing. Just a 10-minute walk lands you downtown, and a mere 15-minute walk takes you to the most stunning lake you could imagine. And the people? They come from all corners of the globe, each bringing their unique perspectives, culture, and stories. I've found some of my bestest of friends here, already. And as for traveling, I’ve been taking advantage of my weekends and school breaks. From Paris to Vienna, London to Madrid, and countless cities in between—I've been soaking up every moment of this international experience. No second thoughts here—choosing a school abroad was absolutely the right call for me.
